Tonight | The Dropout on SBS 2: Theranos faces its final reckoning – The Dropout ends with Elizabeth Holmes and Sunny confronting the consequences of the Wall Street Journal article. It airs Sunday 11 October 2026 at 9.30pm on SBS 2 and SBS On Demand.

The finale follows a company that has built its reputation on a promise now under public challenge, bringing its leadership into a different kind of test.

The newspaper’s reporting puts Theranos under intense scrutiny. Holmes, played by Amanda Seyfried, and Sunny can no longer contain the story inside the company.

The series has traced Holmes’s rise as a young self-made billionaire and the ambitions surrounding her blood-testing business. The final episode turns to the reckoning after the report appears.
