The Bachelors Australia Tuesday was #2 for 10 with 330 000 viewers, a rise of 68%. Home and Away was #4 with 310 000, an increase of 54%. The 2023 Australian Open was #5 and the Big Bash League was #9.

Seven

Seven News was #2 with wins in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. Seven News at 6:30 was #1 with wins in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. Home and Away was #8 overall, but #3 in its slot with 492 000, but will have significant rises next week in Total TV. Australian Idol was #11 with 434 000. This number is disappointing, however, it did manage to increase its number from Monday and is now ahead of Australian Survivor. Quantum Leap made its debut on 7 – the first major prime time series under the new NBCU deal. The show was #22 with 216 000 viewers for episode 1 and #43 for episode 2 with 118 000. Seven will be looking at the Total TV results next week, as US dramas tend to do much better in delayed viewing. Late night viewing went to a repeat of Inside Belmarsh Prison with 51 000 watching.

Monday – 413 000

Tuesday – 434 000

Nine

Nine News was #5 with wins in Sydney and Brisbane. Nine News 6:30 was #4 with wins in Sydney and Brisbane as well. A Current Affair was #6 overall, but last night #1 in its slot with 660 000. Married at First Sight (MAFS) was the #1 non news show of the night (by far) with 796 000. This was a 44 000 viewer decline on its opening episode on Monday night, however, this still nearly doubles Australian Idol. Nine brought out the classic movie, The Castle and was rewarded with 323 000, beating its rivals. Nine News Late had a strong 189 000 and then a repeat of La Brea had 72 000 viewers,

The Project 6:30pm had 164 000 viewers and ranked #30. The Project 7pm was #16 with 274 000 viewers. Australian Survivor had a decline of 37 000 viewers from Monday night and is now behind Australian Idol in total people. However, Australian Survivor continues to be miles ahead of Idol in 16-39 and 25-54 placing #2 in both demos behind MAFS. Even though 10 has a new episode available of NCIS, they stuck with a repeat for 118 000 viewers. A second late night repeat was on 76 000.

ABC

ABC News was #7 but #2 in its slot. 730 was #10 with 442 000 viewers. The heartwarming and also heartbreaking series, Better Date Than Never was #17 with 257 000 viewers. Australia’s Wild Odyssey was #27 with 182 000 viewers. The very final episode of Julia Zemiro’s Home Delivery was repeated again by the ABC with Julia Zemiro herself as the star was #40 with 118 000 viewers.

7two blitzed the multi channels with Bargain Hunt, Call the Midwife (#1) and Manhunt: The Night Stalker (#15). 7mate was second thanks to new program, Heavy Tow Truckers Down Under placing #4 for the night with 92 000 viewers. A repeat Aussie Salvage Squad was #9. A repeat of Outback Truckers also did well at #12.
