Zac Power trailer launches an Australian spy adventure – The official Zac Power trailer has arrived. It gives audiences a first look at the animated feature before it opens in Australian cinemas on 7 January 2027.
Based on H.I. Larry’s hit spy-book series, the film follows top junior spy Zac Power. One oversized mission forces him to work with a new rival agent. It also makes Zac confront the habits that put the world at risk.
Zac Power is a major homegrown family release. Flying Bark and Cheeky Little Media are producing the film with Pixel Zoo. Screen Australia and the Australian Children’s Television Foundation are supporting the project, which brings local animation talent together with a recognisable Australian voice cast.

What is Zac Power about?
Zac is the top junior spy at GIB. However, a new secret agent changes the routine. Zac’s recklessness lets a maniacal magician steal a high-tech super weapon. Now the stakes are much higher. Zac must put aside his differences and learn to work as part of a team.
The trailer promises one mega mission and an action-packed adventure. Zac must save the world before the stolen weapon can be used.
Parker Little leads the voice cast. Kylie Cantrall, Matt Lucas, David Wenham, Leah Purcell, Ed Oxenbould, Tanya Hennessy and Tim Minchin also feature.
Who is behind Zac Power?
Alexs Stadermann and David Webster direct the film. Fin Edquist, John Armstrong, Lawrence Leung and Erica Harrison wrote the screenplay. Paramount Pictures will distribute the feature in Australia and New Zealand.
Zac Power opens in Australian cinemas on 7 January 2027.
