Digger final trailer sends Tom Cruise on a frantic mission – Universal Pictures Australia has released the final trailer for Digger, the new original film from director Alejandro G. Iñárritu. Tom Cruise leads the Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures release, arriving exclusively in Australian cinemas on 1 October 2026.
The Digger final trailer puts Cruise’s title character under pressure as the world’s most powerful man races to prove he can save humanity from the disaster he has unleashed. It marks a major original-film outing for Iñárritu, whose new feature was shot entirely in VistaVision.
With its combination of a high-stakes premise, an acclaimed filmmaker and an ensemble led by Cruise, Digger is positioning itself as one of the big-screen events of the October school-holiday period.
