Rivals season two returns to Disney+ in November – The second season of Rivals resumes on Disney+ on 11 November with a three-episode premiere. Six new 60-minute episodes will take the hit British drama towards its finale.
With its mix of high-stakes rivalry, glamour and scandal, Rivals has become a key part of Disney+’s drama line-up. The new episodes reunite David Tennant, Alex Hassell and Aidan Turner in Dame Jilly Cooper’s vividly heightened Rutshire world.
The story picks up after the mid-season finale, as Tony Baddingham and Declan O’Hara’s battle for the Cotswolds crown reaches fever pitch. Rupert Campbell-Black confronts his own demons, while Taggie O’Hara must decide whether to follow her heart as alliances fracture around her.
Returning cast
David Tennant returns as Tony Baddingham, alongside Alex Hassell as Rupert Campbell-Black and Aidan Turner as Declan O’Hara. Nafessa Williams, Bella Maclean, Katherine Parkinson, Danny Dyer and Victoria Smurfit also reprise their roles.
Rachael Stirling, Rupert Evans and Santiago Cabrera join the new episodes. Hayley Atwell and Rupert Everett also return as guest stars.
Rivals is produced by Happy Prince, part of ITV Studios, and is based on Cooper’s bestselling novel. All of season one and the first six episodes of season two are available now on Disney+.
