Home and Away was #1 with 302 000, a rise of 65%. The 2023 Australian Open Day 11 – Night was #4 and beat the Nine News half hours with 285 000, an increase of 13%. Sunrise was #11 with 118 000 viewers, an uplift of 7%. 10 fared much better in this demo, compared with Total TV.

Seven News was #1 with a win in all markets. Seven News at 6:30 was #2 with wins in Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. Home and Away was #9 with 457 000 viewers. Seven’s Cricket: Big Bash League – The Challenger was #12 with 352 000 fans. That sets up for a grand final between the Perth Scorchers and the Brisbane Heat tomorrow.
Nine
Nine News was #4 with no wins in any market. Nine News 6:30 was #5 and had a win in Sydney. A Current Affair was #6 overall, but #1 in its slot with 596 000 viewers. Married at First Sight (MAFS) saw another drop but remained in the 700k range with 704 000. MAFS will return to its traditional Sunday to Wednesday slots from next week. Nine aired the special, Kardashians: The Billion Dollar Dynasty and had 207 000 viewers. Nine News Late went to air around 10:35pm and was watched by 92 000. Emergency Call aired late night to 50 000 viewers. The series final (final ever episode) of Pure Genius went to air near midnight for 27 000 viewers.

The Project 6:30pm had 150 000 viewers. The Project 7pm was #20 with 220 000. It was the new series premiere of the Tom Gleeson led, Taskmaster Australia and 360 000 came along for the first episode and landed #11 for the night which would be considered a good launch given the day and slot. The show was also #2 for the entire day in 16-39 and 25-54, sitting just behind MAFS. In a last minute switcheroo, 10 decided to follow Taskmaster with the repeat special, Tom Gleeson: Lighten Up to 152 000 viewers, which was down on the 169 000 that watched SVU in the slot last week. The new episode of SVU was pushed later but still had 114 000 loyal viewers. A repeat of SVU followed with 97 000.

ABC News was #7 but #2 in its slot. 730 was #10 with 415 000 viewers. A repeat of You Can’t Ask That had 218 000 viewers. The new season premiere of Grand Designs: House of the Year was #15 with 254 000 viewers. A repeat of Joanna Lumley’s Hidden Caribbean had 187 000 viewers.

7two own Thursdays thanks to Father Brown, #2 for the evening with 107 000 viewers. The new season premiere of Murdoch Mysteries began with 101 000 viewers. Kavanagh QC was moved to 9:30 and therefore suffered a drop to 52 000 viewers.
7mate was equal second with the Big Bash League airing on the multi channel in Perth and smaller segments airing across Australia, depending on the timezone. A new episode of Pawn Stars and the movie, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood also helped.
10 Bold was equal second thanks to a repeat of NCIS ranking #1 for the night with 118 000 fans. A repeat of Bull was #4 with 97 000. NCIS New Orleans ran an old episode at 9:30 for 75 000.
