The Odyssey Kicks Off Global Tour in London Ahead of World Premiere – Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey has launched its global tour in London, ahead of the film’s world premiere at the Odeon Leicester Square.
The event marks a major moment for The Odyssey, which brings Homer’s foundational saga to the big screen in a bold new cinematic form.
Nolan, an Academy Award-winning filmmaker, has shot the film entirely with IMAX cameras. As a result, The Odyssey is being positioned as one of his most immersive theatrical experiences to date.
The film is led by a major ensemble cast, including Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway and Tom Holland. They joined Nolan in London on Sunday morning for a rooftop photo call, as attention turned to the film’s world premiere.
The Odyssey premieres in London
The Odyssey will have its world premiere in London on Monday evening UK time.
The red carpet is expected to feature a large line-up of talent from the film. Christopher Nolan and producer Emma Thomas are expected to attend, alongside Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Tom Holland, Robert Pattinson, Benny Safdie, Lupita Nyong’o and Zendaya.
Samantha Morton, Himesh Patel, John Leguizamo, Charlize Theron, Mia Goth, Elliot Page and Corey Hawkins are also expected to walk the red carpet.
In addition, cinematographer Hoyte Van Hoytema and composer Ludwig Göransson are expected to attend the London premiere.

Australian fans will also be able to follow the premiere live.
The live stream of The Odyssey premiere in London begins from 2.30am Tuesday AEST across the film’s social channels.
Following the London launch, the global tour will continue with stops in Paris, Mumbai and New York.
