New this week on Apple TV: The Dynasty: UConn Huskies, Stillwater and more – Apple TV has a fresh weekly lineup from Friday, 21 August, led by the premiere of the three-part sports docuseries The Dynasty: UConn Huskies.
The week also includes the season five premiere of Stillwater, the finale of Lucky, and new episodes of Ted Lasso, Silo, Trying and Las Azules, also known as Women in Blue.
For Australian Apple TV viewers, this week balances sport, family viewing, prestige drama and returning favourites. It also sets up a busy run of late-August and September Apple Originals.
The Dynasty: UConn Huskies
The Dynasty: UConn Huskies traces 40 years of the University of Connecticut women’s basketball program under Hall of Fame coach Geno Auriemma.
The three-part documentary uses archival footage, interviews and access to players, coaches and alumni. It explores how the Huskies became a dominant force in college basketball.
The series features interviews with the 2025 National Championship team, including Paige Bueckers, Azzi Fudd, Sarah Strong, KK Arnold and Jana El Alfy. It also reflects on the wider UConn legacy, including Rebecca Lobo, Swin Cash, Sue Bird, Diana Taurasi, Maya Moore and Breanna Stewart.
Stillwater Season Five
Stillwater returns with a five-episode fifth season. The Peabody and Daytime Emmy Award-winning family series is based on Jon J Muth’s Zen book series.
The series follows Karl, Addy and Michael, three siblings who learn mindfulness and emotional awareness from their wise panda neighbour, Stillwater.
Lucky Finale
The seventh and final episode of Lucky is now streaming. The limited series stars Anya Taylor-Joy as a woman trying to escape the criminal life she left behind.
The finale, titled All Good Things, puts everything on the line as Lucky faces an explosive confrontation.

- Ted Lasso: Season four continues with episode three, Richmond’s Got Talent, as the coaches hold tryouts for Richmond’s women’s team.

- Trying: Season five continues with episode seven, Tuscany, as Nikki and Jason’s escape does not go to plan.
Coming Soon To Apple TV
Dark Matter season two premieres on Friday, 28 August. The new season brings Joel Edgerton and Jennifer Connelly back to the sci-fi story based on Blake Crouch’s novel.
Mayday, a new Apple Original Film starring Ryan Reynolds and Kenneth Branagh, premieres on Friday, 4 September. The action comedy follows a Navy pilot stranded behind enemy lines during the Cold War.
Australian thriller Last Seen premieres on Wednesday, 9 September. The six-episode series stars Patrick Brammall as a police dispatcher and former detective whose missing daughter may still be alive.
