Top End Series continues on Kayo Sports in Mackay – Australia will look to keep the NRMA Insurance Bangladesh Test series alive when the second Test begins in Mackay on Saturday, 22 August.
The match will be shown live and ad-break free during play on Fox Cricket. It will also be available on Kayo Sports, with day-one coverage from Great Barrier Reef Arena beginning at 9.00am AEST.
For cricket viewers, the Mackay Test now carries extra weight after Bangladesh’s historic win in Darwin. Australia needs a response. Bangladesh, meanwhile, has the chance to secure a major away series victory on Australian soil.
Australia responds after Darwin
Australia heads to Mackay after losing the first Test in Darwin. That match gave Bangladesh its first Test win on Australian soil.
Queensland batter Matthew Renshaw has been brought into the side. He replaces Jake Weatherald at the top of the order as Australia looks to square the series.
Fox Cricket commentator Adam Gilchrist said the opening Test delivered history and pressure. He highlighted Hasan Mahmud’s player-of-the-match bowling effort, Tanzid Hasan’s century and Cameron Green’s contribution for Australia.
“I am excited for what Mackay is going to offer up and looking forward to seeing how Australia responds with the series on the line.”
