Bad Monkey season 2 confirms Apple TV return date – Apple TV has confirmed that Bad Monkey, starring and executive produced by Vince Vaughn, will return for season two on Wednesday, 2 December.
The 10-episode season will debut with one episode. New episodes will then arrive every Wednesday through 3 February 2027.
For Apple TV subscribers, the return gives the streamer another familiar comedy title for its end-of-year slate. The new season also keeps Vince Vaughn’s Andrew Yancy at the centre of the story while moving beyond the first season with a fresh original mystery.

A new case for Andrew Yancy
Season two begins after Yancy witnesses the murder of what Apple describes as Florida’s finest fixer. An ambitious state attorney then pairs him with a strait-laced forensic accountant to solve the crime.
Yancy wants to regain his detective’s badge. However, the case pulls him into a turf war between rival criminal organisations.
Along the way, he encounters a mix of Florida characters. They include an erudite mob boss, his unstable son and a hard-edged young woman who needs protection.
The new season will also continue Yancy’s personal complications. He must deal with his ageing father, unresolved romantic tension with Dr Rosa Campensino, and an animal relocation specialist whose business threatens the local environment.
Cast additions
Vaughn returns alongside Natalie Martinez, Charlotte Lawrence and John Ortiz. Season two will also introduce John Malkovich, Yvonne Strahovski and Zavior Phillips.
Guest stars include Nate Jackson, Sofia Boutella, Brent Morin, Joey Avery, Dax Shepard, Sam Jaeger, Margarita Levieva, Peter Billingsley and June Diane Raphael.
