Prime Video Australia September 2026 highlights – Prime Video has revealed its September 2026 streaming slate for Australia, led by romantic drama The Love Hypothesis, the Reacher spin-off Neagley, psychological thriller The Runner and action thriller The Get Out.
The month also includes a new era for The Grand Tour, the Spanish romance Drawn Together, Korean relationship drama A Love Other Than Yours, and a large late-month library drop that spans The Matrix, Tenet, Rocky, Creed, The Hobbit, The Conjuring and more.
For Australian streaming viewers, September is a broad Prime Video month rather than a single-title month. The platform is mixing originals, international romance, action, returning franchise comfort viewing and major catalogue movies. As a result, subscribers get weekly arrivals before a very full final two days.
Prime Video September Highlights
Early September
The Runner arrives on Wednesday 2 September. The psychological thriller stars Gal Gadot as Maia Marten, a high-powered London lawyer whose routine morning run turns into a nightmare when a phone call reveals that her son has been taken. Damian Lewis, Rory Wilmot and Alfred Enoch also star.
The Grand Tour returns on Friday 4 September with a new presenting line-up. This time, trainspotter and petrolhead Francis Bourgeois joins James Engelsman and Thomas Holland from Throttle House for motoring challenges, unusual questions and international car culture.
Drawn Together streams from Wednesday 9 September. Based on Mercedes Ron’s bestselling novel Marfil, the film follows Marfil Cortes after a kidnapping changes her life. Soon after, her father assigns Sebastian Moore as her bodyguard. Ester Exposito and Hugo Diego Garcia lead the cast.
Mid-Month Drama And Romance
A Love Other Than Yours is also part of the September slate. The Korean series follows Namgung Ho and Lee Mi-do, a couple whose decade-long relationship reaches a crossroads as marriage, ambition and another possible love pull them in different directions.
Blue Moon streams from Monday 14 September. Ethan Hawke stars as lyricist Lorenz Hart, who faces a moment of personal and creative reckoning in Sardi’s bar on the opening night of Oklahoma!. Margaret Qualley, Bobby Cannavale and Andrew Scott also star.
Neagley arrives on Wednesday 16 September. The Reacher spin-off follows Frances Neagley, played by Maria Sten, as she investigates the suspicious death of a friend from her past. Meanwhile, Alan Ritchson appears as Jack Reacher, with Greyston Holt, Adeline Rudolph and Jasper Jones in the cast.
You+Me – Against the World streams from Friday 18 September. Vittoria Di Savoia plays Alma Lancaster, a young woman hiding her filmmaking ambitions from her wealthy family. Lucas Barski stars as Vadim Arcadi, the troubled student who enters her life during a campus film project.
Final Week Premieres
The Love Hypothesis streams from Wednesday 23 September. Based on Ali Hazelwood’s New York Times bestselling novel, the film stars Lili Reinhart as Olive, a PhD candidate whose attempt to help a friend turns into a fake relationship with professor Adam Carlsen, played by Tom Bateman.
The Get Out lands on Friday 25 September. Russell Crowe stars as a nightclub owner trying to leave his dangerous past behind. However, cartels, masked gunmen and a mysterious buyer soon pull him back toward danger. Teresa Palmer, Aaron Paul, Luke Evans and Nina Dobrev also star.
