7NEWS obtains CCTV footage of Sydney Swans coach Dean Cox – 7NEWS has obtained CCTV footage of Sydney Swans coach Dean Cox and other football department staff on a Melbourne street hours before an alleged incident involving Swans players at the Pullman Hotel in East Melbourne.
The story is relevant to AFL viewers because it relates to the Sydney Swans, their football department and a developing police matter connected to the club’s trip to Melbourne after Sydney’s win over Essendon.
According to 7NEWS, at least four Swans players are assisting police over a report of sexual assault at the Pullman Hotel in East Melbourne, which allegedly took place later that morning.
The CCTV footage was taken just after 12.30am on the night of Sydney’s win over Essendon.
7NEWS reports the Swans had a club function at Harlow Bar in Richmond, metres from where Cox and fellow Sydney staff were filmed via CCTV. Cox appears to get into a car at the end of the footage.
