NCAA Championship on ESPN- March Madness is living up to its name in 2023, as the NCAA tournament hits the business end with the Men’s and Women’s NCAA National Championships down to an unexpected Final Four.
ESPN is the only place to see the thrilling climax to College Basketball’s biggest prize, with every game from the Men’s and Women’s Final Four and Men’s and Women’s NCAA National Championship Games LIVE.
The Women’s Final Four begins Saturday April 1, with Final Four matches back-to-back LIVE on ESPN2.
Three teams have ended long standing droughts to reach the Final Four – and it’s the first in 38 years not to contain either Tennessee, Stanford or UCONN.
Starting things at 10am AEDT, Virginia Tech take on LSU.
Virginia Tech have reached the Final Four for the first time in their history and have not lost a game since January.
Louisiana State are back in the Final Four for the first time in 15 years and will create history if they win the tournament, as the lowest seed to do so.
Then at 12pm AEDT, South Carolina battle Iowa.
A blockbuster Final Four showdown awaits between the number one and number two seeds.
Iowa have had to wait 30 years to get back to the Final Four – but standing in the way are defending NCAA National Champions, and powerhouse- South Carolina.
The Men’s Final Four gets underway on Sunday April 2, with another blockbuster double header of LIVE Final Four matches on ESPN2.
It has been a NCAA National Championship for the ages on the men’s side of the draw, and more madness is in store now we have reached the Final Four.
2023 is the first Final Four to not have a number one seed remaining in the tournament.
Three of the four participating teams are making their first ever Final Four appearance – the first time this has happened since 1970. UCONN is the only team will NCAA finals experience.
Beginning at 8.00am AEST Sunday, San Diego State meet Florida Atlantic, live on ESPN2.
San Diego State have made it to the Final Four on the back of defense. They have proven hard to score against, holding their four opponents so far well under their scoring averages this season.
Florida Atlantic though are all about offence. The Owls are one of just four reams to win 30 plus games this season and are riding an 11-game winning streak into the Final Four.
Then following at 10.30am AEST, UCONN face off against Miami.
UCONN are the only team to have previously made the Final Four, with this their fifth time in the Semi Final stage. They have won the NCAA Championship every time they have progressed this far – and as the highest seeded team left, they are favored to take the NCAA crown.
After dropping games late in the season, Miami have caught fire at the NCAA tournament.
They’ve scored over 85 points in their last three games – led by offensive weapons Isaiah Wong, Jordan Miller and Nijel Pack.
Monday April 3 will see the NCAA Women’s Championship Final, with the winners of the Final Four matches facing off for the title of the best College Basketball team in the country.
The NCAA Women’s Championship Final is LIVE on ESPN at 5.30am AEST Monday.
Tuesday April 4 is the NCAA Men’s Championship Final, with the final two fighting it out to be the best in Men’s College Basketball.
The NCAA Men’s Championship Final is on Tuesday April 4, LIVE on ESPN at 11am AEST.
