Analysis
Seven News at 6:30 was #1 overall with 861 000 viewers and had wins in all metro markets. Seven News had 822 000 and once again had a clean sweep in all of the 5 capital city markets. Home and Away was #7 overall, but was #1 non news for the night. It was #3 in its time slot behind ABC News and ACA, but that is expected to change next week with Total TV. Kitchen Nightmares ended its season with 416 000 viewers and was #1 in its slot with the commercial offerings, but sat behind 730 for the first 30 minutes. There was a very late amendment in America, preventing Seven from screening the scheduled episode of The Good Doctor, meaning Seven subbed in a repeat of Kitchen Nightmares Australia to 203 000. 10 Years Younger in 10 Days had 123 000 viewers. The Latest: Seven News was on 103 000. Late night viewers had a new episode of Chicago Fire for 62 000 viewers.
Nine News 6:30 was #3 overall and missed out on a win in any market but the gap was just 5000 viewers in Brisbane. Nine News, similarly missed out on a win but the gap was just 3000 viewers in Melbourne. A Current Affair was #5 overall but #1 in its slot with 599 000. My Mum Your Dad was on 414 000 and continues to have traction in Total TV. A repeat of Travel Guides was on 264 000. Nine is showing repeat episodes of Botched, despite having a number of new episodes up their sleeve to 112 000 viewers. Nine News Late was watched by 65 000 viewers. Skin A+E was on very late with 42 000 viewers.
The Project 6:30pm had 193 000, but that figure rose to 323 000 for The Project 7pm. The Challenge Australia continued on 10 with 193 000. However, like Love Island Australia, this has a much younger demographic and is likely to be viewed more strongly in the digital space, so like yesterday, judgment will be reserved until next week. The Cheap Seats was strong with 343 000 viewers. A new episode of NCIS had 185 000 viewers and the late night repeat of NCIS had 106 000.
