TONY is now in cinemas, and the film arrives with the A24 name behind it, a rising lead in Dominic Sessa, and a story built around the early life of one of modern food culture’s most recognisable figures.
About TONY
From director Matt Johnson, TONY is the origin story of food icon Anthony Bourdain.
The film follows 19-year-old Tony, played by Dominic Sessa, as he travels to Provincetown and stumbles into the chaotic world of a restaurant kitchen. That summer sets him on a path that will shape the course of his life.
The cast also includes Emilia Jones, Dagmara Dominczyk, Rich Sommer, Stavros Halkias, Leo Woodall and Antonio Banderas.
TONY is directed by Matt Johnson and written by Johnson, Matthew Miller, Todd Bartels and Lou Howe.
