The Foxtel Group today announced bumper ratings throughout the 2022/23 KFC Big Bash League with a spike in streaming driving record viewership over the summer.
With two matches remaining, BBL 12 already has an average audience of 248,000per game tuning in across Foxtel, Foxtel Now, Foxtel Go and Kayo Sports – up 33% YoY.
Streaming soared across Foxtel Group platforms, clocking a 52% viewership increase YoY with more than 235 hours of live coverage made available to subscribers.

Leading experts – including Adam Gilchrist, Isa Guha, Mark Waugh, Brett Lee and Brad Haddin – fronted Fox Cricket’s coverage while current players David Warner, Aaron Finch, Mitch Marsh, Glenn Maxwell, Dan Christian, Adam Zampa and Alyssa Healy also provided unique insights behind the mic throughout the tournament.
With no ad-breaks at the completion of overs, Fox Cricket was able to innovate and push boundaries with unique player access and interviews on-field.

More than 950,000 fans have flocked to BBL matches this season with a further 50,000 expected at Optus Stadium on Saturday to see the Scorchers take on the winner of Sydney Sixers v Brisbane Heat which will be decided tonight at the SCG.
