The Wednesday schedule brings another busy night for Australian viewers, with medal chances in weightlifting, swimming, 3×3 basketball and athletics. All times below are AEST.
For Seven, the daily highlights format helps viewers navigate a fast-moving Games schedule across prime time and overnight sessions. Tonight’s coverage also keeps several Australian storylines in focus, including Lachlan Kennedy on the track, Sam Short in the pool and Australia’s 3×3 basketball teams pushing deep into the tournament.
Tonight on Seven and 7plus Sport
- 6.30pm | Weightlifting: Isabella Andueza goes for gold for Australia in the women’s 77kg final.
- 7.00pm | Athletics: The women’s heptathlon long jump begins the night’s athletics action, with Tori West and Mia Scerri representing Australia. Olli Hoare is joined by Cam Myers and Adam Spencer in round one of the men’s mile.
- From 9.00pm | Athletics: Lachlan Kennedy features in the men’s 200m heats. The women’s heptathlon continues with the javelin throw, while para-athlete Nathan Jason appears in the men’s 100m T11/12 and Sarah Carli takes on the women’s 400m hurdles from 10.00pm.
