The Friday schedule includes athletics, track cycling, boxing and bowls, with Australian medal chances across prime time and the early hours of Saturday morning. All times below are AEST.
For Seven, the daily highlights format continues to give viewers a clear way through a busy Glasgow program. Tonight’s schedule puts Australian athletes in the spotlight across the track, velodrome, boxing ring and bowls green.
For Perth viewers: Seven’s WA highlights move to WST, with boxing from 4.00pm, athletics and track cycling from 5.00pm, bowls and para-bowls from 10.00pm, overnight track cycling from 11.00pm, athletics from 1.30am and Emma Sue-Greentree’s boxing semi-final listed for 3.00am. Saturday’s preview block starts at 5.00pm for athletics and track cycling, with boxing finals from 6.00pm.

- 7.00pm | Athletics: Brooke Buschkuehl and Delta Amidzovski open Australia’s night in the women’s long jump, before the mixed 4x400m relay team competes from 8.35pm. Rhiannon Clarke features in the women’s 200m T37/38, while Eliza Ault-Connell lines up in the women’s 400m T53/54.
- 7.00pm | Track Cycling: Alessia McCaig, Molly McGill and Liliya Tatarinoff contest the women’s sprint. Sophie Edwards and Claudia Marcks chase a place in the women’s 4000m individual pursuit final, before Conor Leahy, Oliver Bleddyn and James Moriarty feature in the men’s 4000m individual pursuit from 9.50pm.
- 8.00pm | Boxing: Eve Bryson represents Australia in the women’s welterweight 65kg semi-final. Jacob Cassar follows in the men’s welterweight 65kg, with Paul Trainor in the men’s light-heavyweight 80kg. Jye Dixon and Lekeisha Pergoliti also feature in semi-final bouts.

Lachlan Kennedy lines up in the men’s 200m final at 6.25am, before Torrie Lewis contests the women’s 200m final from 6.45am. - 7.00pm | Athletics: Kurtis Marschall stars in the men’s pole vault final. Brooke Buschkuehl goes for gold in the women’s long jump final, while Mackenzie Little lines up in the women’s javelin.
- 7.00pm | Athletics: Peter Bol aims to add Commonwealth gold in the 800m final. Cam Myers, Olli Hoare, Jess Hull, Claudia Hollingsworth and Abbey Caldwell chase medals in the men’s and women’s mile finals.
