Seven News was #1 for the night with a reach lead of 83 000 and an average audience lead of 56 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #8 with 1 300 000 (905 000). Farmer Wants a Wife – Tuesday was #6 with 1 411 000 (806 000). Doc was #16 with 848 000 (437 000). The Agenda Setters was #36 with 463 000 (162 000). Accused was on 322 000 (130 000). Autopsy USA was on 76 000 (31 000).

The Chase UK – 399 000 (201 000)

Nine

9News was #2 for the night. A Current Affair was #4 with 1 703 000 (1 141 000). Lego Masters Grand Masters of the Galaxy – Tuesday was #3 with 1 779 000 (716 000). A repeat of Australian Crime Stories: The Investigators was #11 with 1 115 000 (371 000). 9News Late was #40 with 391 000 (192 000). Footy Classified aired in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth and was on 329 000 (124 000). Ski Rescue Down Under aired in Sydney and Brisbane and was on 170 000 (66 000). Wild Cards aired in Sydney and Brisbane and was on 69 000 (32 000). A repeat of The Equalizer was on 129 000 (65 000).

Tipping Point UK (R) – 608 000 (333 000)

Deal or No Deal was #31 with 522 000 (280 000). The Project was #15 with 863 000 (333 000). MasterChef Australia – Tuesday was #12 with 1 105 000 (619 000). The Cheap Seats was #14 with 889 000 (490 000). The Inspired Unemployed – The List was #28 with 548 000 (155 000). 10’s Late News was on 194 000 (92 000).

ABC News was #10 for the night. 730 was #9 with 1 290 000 (806 000). Walking with Dinosaurs was #17 with 826 000 (410 000). A repeat of Dinosaur Apocalypse with Sir David Attenborough was #29 with 544 000 (282 000). A repeat of I Was Actually There was #42 with 377 000 (191 000). ABC Late News was on 259 000 (71 000).

Claire Hooper’s Game of Games – 624 000 (314 000)

Antiques Roadshow – 551 000 (251 000)

SBS World News was #46 with 356 000 (232 000). SBS World News 7pm was #50 with 335 000 (160 000). Who Do You Think You Are was #32 with 503 000 (246 000). Insight was #30 with 530 000 (218 000). Dateline was on 280 000 (127 000).

  • LEGO® Masters Grand Masters of the Galaxy dominated the 7.30pm timeslot with key demos People 25-54 and 16-39 across Australia. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.779 million, Total TV National Audience of 716,000 (up 5.9% year-on-year) and a BVOD audience of 76,000 (up 33.3% year-on-year).
  • 9News was the No. 1 news bulletin and No. 1 program with Total People across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It was also the No.1 program in Adelaide and Perth with People 25-54 and 16-39. The combined national bulletins secured a National Total TV Reach of 2.230 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.426 million – up 17.8% year-on-year. On 9Now, its BVOD Audience of 135,000 was up 46.7% on the same night last year.
  • A Current Affair dominated the 7.00pm timeslot with Total People across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.703 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.141 million (up 14.6% year-on-year). On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 103,000 – up 43.1% year-on-year.
  • Tipping Point Australia was the No. 1 afternoon game show with Total People and all key demos across Australia. It won with Total People in all five metro capitals. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.575 million and a Total TV National Audience of 855,000, up 12.5% year-on-year. On 9Now, its BVOD Audience of 82,000 was up a huge 57.7% on the same night last year.
  • Today was the breakfast program of choice with Total People in Brisbane. It was also the preferred breakfast program across the 5 City Metro with key demos People 25-54 and 16-39. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 769,000, a Total TV National Audience of 326,000 and a BVOD audience of 43,000 – up a notable 22.9% year-on-year.
  • The 9Network was the No. 1 network across the 5 City Metro on Tuesday with Total People and all key demos.

The Cheap Seats #1 In Timeslot And Key Demos, MasterChef Australia #1 In 16 to 39s.

Four MasterChef Australia contestants faced a pressure test given by Dessert Master winner John Demetrios to recreate his Chocolate Meteor. Snez delivered the best dish and won immunity as the judges found her elements were all perfect in terms of flavour, texture and aesthetic.

On The Cheap Seats, hosts Melanie Bracewell and Tim McDonald took a fun look at the week that was. Joining in on the action were Cultural Correspondent, Mel Tracina, MasterChef Australia judge Andy Allen and comedian Emma Holland.

• Reached 1.1 million total viewers.
• #1 in timeslot in 16 to 39s.
Season-to-date:
• Reaching 7 million total viewers.
• Averaging 761,000 total national viewers.
