Seven News was #1 for the night with a reach lead of 293 000 and an average audience lead of 173 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #8 with 1 340 000 (862 000). Farmer Wants a Wife was #5 with 1 747 000 (893 000). 9-1-1 was #19 with 822 000 (369 000). The Irrational was #33 with 552 000 (180 000).

Nine

9News was #2 for the night. A Current Affair was #4 with 1 763 000 ( 1 175 000). Lego Masters was #3 with 1 929 000 (785 000). Paramedics was #14 with 1 033 000 (455 000). Footy Classified was #40 with 475 000 (175 000). 100% Footy was #44 with 393 000 (141 000).

The Project was #16 with 951 000 (363 000). I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here was #11 with 1 256 000 (623 000). A repeat of FBI: Most Wanted was #24 with 743 000 (216 000).

ABC

ABC News was #10 for the night. 730 was #9 with 1 308 000 (878 000). Australian Story was #12 with 1 072 000 (786 000). Four Corners was #12 with 1 062 000 (595 000). Media Watch was #23 with 763 000 (646 000). The Rise and Fall of Boris Johnson was #21 with 809 000 (338 000).

  • Lego Masters won the battle of the 7.30pm reality programs across Australia with People 25-54 and 16-39. The program was also the No. 1 reality program with Total People in Sydney and Melbourne. The ‘Australia v The World’ themed series recorded a Total TV National Audience of 785,000 (up 19.6% on 2023’s second episode) and a BVOD audience of 50,000 (up 24.1% year-on-year).
  • 9News was the No. 1 program across Australia with People 25-54 and 16-39. It was also the No. 1 program in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane with Total People. The combined bulletins recorded a Total TV National Audience of 1.330 million (up 21.1% year-on-year) and a BVOD audience of 87,000 (up 67.3% year-on-year).
  • 9News recorded its highest rating bulletin of the year in Sydney with a Total TV Average Audience of 296,000 – 52,000 viewers ahead of its nearest competitor. In Melbourne, the Total TV Average Audience of 319,000 was 49,000 viewers ahead of its nearest competitor.
  • Tipping Point won the afternoon game show slot across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.418 million and a Total TV National Audience of 729,000, representing a 70% timeslot lift when compared to the corresponding day last year.
  • A Current Affair was the No. 1 program at 7.00pm across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.763 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.175 million – up 16.6% on the same night last year. Its BVOD audience was 74,000 – up 64.1% on the same night last year. 
  • Today was the No. 1 breakfast program across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 868,000 and a Total TV National Audience of 331,000 – up 1.3% on the same morning last year.
  • Today Extra was the No. 1 mornings program across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney and Melbourne. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 579,000 and a Total TV National Audience of 215,000.

The 9Network was No. 1 on Monday across the 5 City Metro with People 25-54, 16-39 and Total People.

Last night, Ellie Cole faced off with a nest of snakes while directing Stephen K Amos to traverse the highway of hell holes.

And the siren sounded for Peter Daicos who bid adieu to the jungle goodbye to the jungle.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! (Monday, 15 April).

  • 1.26 million total national viewers reached.
  • Up 8% week-on-week.
  • Up 25% in 16 to 39s, 19% in 25 to 54s and 5% in under 50s week-on-week.
  • #2 in its timeslot in key demos of under 50s, 25 to 54s and 16 to 39s.
  • 41,000 live stream viewers, up 53% on the same episode last year.

Last week, with 7-day viewing, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! (Monday, 8 April) reached 1.39 million total national viewers.

Last night also saw other week-on-week lifts across the schedule and network with:

  • Deal Or No Deal up 15%,
  • 10 News First up 13%,
  • Network 10 (10, 10 Bold, 10 Peach, Nickelodeon) up 46% in 16 to 39s,
  • 10 up 22% in 16 to 39s,
  • 10 Bold up 19%,
  • 10 Peach up 20%.
