Weekly Ratings Australia – Week 31
The weekly shares below come from VOZ week-to-date results, using 6.00pm to midnight data. The analysis is built from TV Central’s daily ratings articles for the week, the VOZ Daily Network Share view forwarded by Neil Shoebridge, and Seven’s weekly media release.
Total People Network Share – Free-To-Air
| Network | Share |
|---|---|
| Seven | 39.8% |
| Nine | 22.0% |
| ABC | 17.8% |
| 10 | 11.8% |
| SBS | 8.5% |
Seven’s Total People win was a full-week result, with the network winning every night from Sunday to Saturday in the 6.00pm to midnight Free-To-Air share. Glasgow 2026 was the week-shaping event, with the Sunday 26 July Evening session the top program of the week, while 7NEWS remained the key nightly anchor.
The advantage widened from Tuesday onward, then stayed above 40% across Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday in the Total TV FTA daily shares. Thursday and Friday were strengthened by AFL, while Saturday was again driven by Glasgow 2026 and 7NEWS. ABC’s strongest night was Monday, helped by 7.30, Australian Story, Four Corners and Media Watch, while 10 was most competitive on Monday and Tuesday through MasterChef Australia, Have You Been Paying Attention? and The Cheap Seats.
25-54 Network Share (commercial) – Total TV
| Network | Share |
|---|---|
| Seven | 53.5% |
| Nine | 28.8% |
| 10 | 17.7% |
Seven also clean-swept 25 to 54s, winning every night in the commercial 6.00pm to midnight Total TV share. The biggest result came on Saturday, when Glasgow 2026 Late, Evening and Night led the demo rankings, after AFL and Glasgow coverage had already delivered strong Thursday and Friday results.
10’s best demo shape came early in the week. Monday’s MasterChef Australia and Have You Been Paying Attention? and Tuesday’s The Cheap Seats gave 10 its most useful younger-skewing support, but the scale of Seven’s Glasgow 2026 and AFL results left the final week-to-date contest one-sided.
16-39 Network Share (commercial) – Total TV
| Network | Share |
|---|---|
| Seven | 55.2% |
| Nine | 27.7% |
| 10 | 17.1% |
Seven’s 16 to 39 result was even stronger, with a clean sweep of all seven nights. Glasgow 2026 gave Seven repeated top-ranked programs in the demo, and Seven’s AFL Friday Night Football also ranked as the #1 program in 16 to 39s on Friday.
10 again had its strongest competitive moments from Sunday to Tuesday, with MasterChef Australia, Have You Been Paying Attention? and The Cheap Seats providing the clearest prime-time drivers. The back half of the week belonged to Seven, with Thursday, Friday and Saturday all above 56% in the commercial 16 to 39 Total TV share.
Grocery Shoppers 18+ Network Share (commercial) – Total TV
| Network | Share |
|---|---|
| Seven | 53.9% |
| Nine | 29.8% |
| 10 | 16.2% |
Grocery Shoppers 18+ was another seven-night clean sweep for Seven. The week-to-date result was built on consistent nightly wins, with 7NEWS, Glasgow 2026 and AFL combining across the 6.00pm to midnight window.
Seven’s strongest grocery-share night was Saturday, followed by Thursday and Wednesday. Nine remained the consistent second-placed commercial network, while 10’s most competitive grocery nights were Monday and Tuesday, again aligning with its best prime-time entertainment performers.
