A24 unveils first look at Tony – A24 has released the first look at Tony, the upcoming film about a young Anthony Bourdain before he became the globally recognised chef, author and television personality.
The preview steps into the kitchen with director Matt Johnson alongside stars Dominic Sessa and Antonio Banderas, offering an early glimpse at the story of Bourdain’s formative summer.

About Tony
Tony follows a 19-year-old Anthony Bourdain as he travels to Provincetown and stumbles into the chaotic world of a restaurant kitchen, setting off a summer that will shape the course of his life.
The film stars Dominic Sessa, Emilia Jones, Dagmara Dominczyk, Rich Sommers, Stavros Halkias, Leo Woodall and Antonio Banderas.
Directed by Matt Johnson, Tony will be released in cinemas across Australia and New Zealand on August 20.
