I’m A Celebrity Seven 2027 is now official, with I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! moving to Seven and 7plus next year.
The Seven Network has confirmed the major reality format will join its entertainment line-up in 2027.
It is a huge move for Australian television. The show has been tied to Network 10 for more than a decade. Now, the jungle has a new local home.
Seven says the new season will keep the core ingredients that viewers know well. Celebrities will face the elements, take on trials and compete for the title of King or Queen of the Jungle.
A Major Switch
For Seven, the deal adds another big entertainment brand. In addition, it gives 7plus a new tentpole reality format for 2027.
For viewers, the switch is significant. I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! has become one of Australia’s best-known reality shows through its cast reveals, jungle challenges and camp drama.
However, Seven is now preparing to put its own stamp on the format.
What Seven Said
Southern Cross Media Group’s Managing Director, Television and Streaming, Angus Ross, said Seven was excited to welcome the series in 2027.
He described the show as one of the world’s most recognisable entertainment formats. He also said Seven would bring fresh energy and ambition to the next chapter.
Meanwhile, ITV Studios Australia CEO and Managing Director David Mott said the company was thrilled to partner with Seven.
Mott said Australian audiences had loved the format for more than ten years. He pointed to the trials, camp drama and celebrity revelations that have made the series work.
What Happens Next
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is created by Lifted Entertainment, part of ITV Studios. ITV Studios also distributes the format internationally.
ITV Studios Australia will produce the Australian series for the Seven Network.
At this stage, Seven has not announced the 2027 cast, hosts or launch date. More details are expected closer to broadcast.
