Seven News was #2 for the night with a reach lead of 245 000 and an average audience lead of 220 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #8 with 1 191 000 (760 000). Australian Idol – Wednesday was #5 with 1 582 000 (849 000). Mr Bates vs the Post Office – episode 1 was #6 with 1 319 000 (689 000). Mr Bates vs the Post Office – episode 2 was #14 with 898 000 (628 000). The Latest – Seven News was #30 with 516 000 (249 000). The missing third and final episode of Million Pound Pawn finally aired late night to an average audience of 80 000.
The Chase Australia was on 1 222 000 (586 000).

9News was #3 for the night. A Current Affair was #4 with 1 626 000 (970 000). Married at First Sight – Wednesday was #1 with 2 372 000 (1 369 000). Under Investigation with Liz Hayes was #11 with 1 114 000 (496 000). 9News Late – Wednesday had an average audience of 228 000. See No Evil was on 120 000. A repeat of The Equalizer was on 65 000.
Tipping Point Australia was on 1 119 000 (542 000).

ABC News was #12 for the night. 730 was #9 with 1 172 000 (645 000). Hard Quiz was #15 with 870 000 (692 000). The Weekly with Charlie Pickering was #16 with 857 000 (607 000). This is Going to Hurt was #25 with 580 000 (275 000). Planet America had an average audience of 205 000. A repeat of QI was on 138 000.

- The 9Network took out Australia’s Top 3 programs of the night with People 25-54, with MAFS, 9News and A Current Affair setting the network up for its fourth consecutive win for the week.
- Married at First Sight was Wednesday’s No.1 program with Total People across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth. It was the No.1 program with People 25-54 in all metro capitals.
- Married at First Sight was a commanding timeslot winner in all metro capitals with a National Total TV Reach of 2.372 million (790,000 viewers ahead of its nearest competitor) and a Total TV National Audience of 1.369 million (520,000 viewers ahead of its nearest competitor).
- Married at First Sight secured a BVOD audience of 287,000 on 9Now – up 11.2% on the corresponding episode last year.
- Under Investigation with Liz Hayes achieved a Total TV National Audience of 496,000, including a BVOD audience of 57,000 – up 41.6% year-on-year.
- 9News was the No.1 news service with Total People in Sydney (29,000 viewers ahead of its nearest timeslot competitor) and in Melbourne (25,000 viewers ahead of its nearest timeslot competitor).
- A Current Affair was once again Australia’s most watched program at 7.00pm. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.626 million and a Total TV National Audience of 970,000. Its BVOD audience was 70,000 – up 41.4% on the same night last year.
- Tipping Point was the afternoon game show of choice in Melbourne and Brisbane. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.119 million and a Total TV National Audience of 542,000, representing a 43.2% timeslot lift when compared to the corresponding day last year. In Regional Australia, the timeslot lift was 50.5% year-on-year.
- Today recorded a National Total TV Reach of 760,000 and was the No.1 breakfast program in Sydney and Melbourne.
- The 9Network was No.1 on Wednesday across the 5 City Metro with all key demos and Total People.
9Now was Australia’s No.1 CFTA BVOD service with People 25-54 (57.4%), 16-39 (61.1%), GS 18+ (54.5%) and Total People (54.6%).
