Bloodlands (season two) Series Premiere SBS On Demand Box-Set Wednesday, 1 February 2023 SBS & SBS On Demand (new episodes coming weekly) When an expensive car is pulled from the sea, veteran Northern Ireland police detective Tom Brannick (James Nesbitt) instantly sees the connection to an infamous cold case that holds enormous personal significance for him, involving a long-buried series of mysterious disappearances. His obsessive campaign to identify and unmask the semi-mythical figure behind these events leads him to a figure code-named Goliath. It’s a case that comes from Tom’s, and his country’s, dark past. A Criminal Affair (series one) Australian Premiere Thursday, 2 February 2023 SBS On Demand (all eight episodes available to stream) A Criminal Affair tells the tragic story of a mother who has spent 15 years trying to exonerate her son who was incarcerated for a murder he didn’t commit. It’s also the story of a Major Crimes Unit detective who always suspected that someone close to him was involved in the killing but had remained silent. Stars Céline Bonnier, Louis Philippe Dandenault and Maxime-Olivier Potvin. A Criminal Affair will air at a later date on SBS. The Walk-In (series one) Australian Premiere Thursday, 2 February 2023 SBS & SBS On Demand (new episodes coming weekly) With a looming Brexit vote wreaking havoc across the British political landscape, tensions are high for activist Matthew Collins (Stephen Graham) and his advocacy group Hope Not Hate, who fear a violent, racist campaign from the British far-right. And when several Islamist-related terrorist attacks rip through the British public in 2017, right-wing extremist group, National Action, sense an opportunity.
