Live coverage of Budget 2026 on Sky News – With the cost-of-living pressures top of mind, Sky News Australia’s expert team will deliver live coverage and in-depth analysis as Treasurer Jim Chalmers presents the Albanese Government’s fifth Federal Budget.
The Treasurer will outline the Government’s economic strategy in Parliament, as households across the country continue to contend with rising costs for essentials such as housing, energy and groceries.
Coverage begins on Sunday May 10, with a special live event hosted by Ross Greenwood, who will put the big questions to politicians and economists ahead of what is shaping up to be one of the most challenging Federal Budgets in recent years.
