Paul Murray Live: The Dunkley Pub Test
Sky News Host Paul Murray is back hosting his first Pub Test since 2022, following the success of the Pub Test Federal Election series.
In a special broadcast on Monday 26 February at 9pm AEDT, three by-election candidates are thus far confirmed to face a pub audience in Frankston, Victoria for an evening of questions on the issues that matter most to voters in Dunkley.
The unscripted and televised Q&A hosted by Paul Murray will feature Liberal Party candidate Nathan Conroy, Libertarian Party candidate Chrysten Abraham and Australian Democrats candidate Heath McKenzie.
Following the debate, Sky News will host a panel to unpack each candidate’s performance and arguments. The panellists include Sky News Hosts Steve Price and Rita Panahi and Sky News Contributor and former Labor Cabinet Minister in the Rudd-Gillard Governments Stephen Conroy.
Dunkley By-Election LIVE
On Saturday 2 March Sky News Australia will be live from Melbourne for complete by-election coverage and rapid results as votes are counted for the Victorian swing seat of Dunkley.
Dunkley voters will give their verdict on the Labor Government’s cost-of-living policies and performance, while the Opposition vie for victory in a seat that is critical to their competitiveness at next year’s federal election.
Live coverage begins at 6.00pm AEDT with Sky News Australia’s Chief News Anchor Kieran Gilbert leading the network’s unrivalled political panel, including Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell, Sky News Anchor Peta Credlin, and Sky News Contributor Stephen Conroy.
Analysing the results and breaking down the data in real-time will be Sky News’ Chief Election Analyst Tom Connell. Several prominent politicians will also join Senior Political Reporter Trudy McIntosh at Liberal HQ, and Victorian Political Reporter Simon Love live from Labor HQ, for their reaction to the results throughout the evening.
