News24 launches across broadcast and digital platforms in Australia — News24 has officially launched at 6.00am AEST today, Monday 27 July 2026.
The new service is now live across broadcast and digital platforms.
Peter Stefanovic introduced the launch on First Edition. The network then moved into a new identity for its 24-hour Australian news service.
For TV Central readers, the change is a major Australian television and streaming rebrand. News24 will sit across Foxtel, BINGE, regional free-to-air, FAST channels, digital products and radio.
New name and expanded platforms
Paul Whittaker, Chief Executive Officer of News24, said the first broadcast under the new name marked a historic day for the network.

Whittaker said News24 would bring storytelling, analysis and opinion to more people on more platforms than before.
Programming and digital products
The launch includes the News24.com.au website and the News24 Australia mobile and tablet app.
It also includes improved Smart TV and FAST products. News24 Now is available on Samsung and LG channels.
Foxtel and BINGE remain premium destinations for News24-produced channels. The line-up includes News24 on Foxtel Channel 600, News24 Weather, News24 World and FOX SPORTS News.
The weekday schedule includes First Edition, AM Agenda, NewsDay, Afternoon Agenda and the network’s evening opinion line-up.
Radio and regional access
News24 Radio is available on DAB+ radio in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It is also available through the News24 Australia app, Nova Player and Smooth Player apps.
News24 Regional on Channel 56 will carry select programs to regional viewers in parts of New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland.
