Sky News and The Australian have announced a distinguished and sought-after list of political and business speakers for the highly anticipated annual business luncheon – Australia’s Economic Outlook – on Friday 9 June.
In his first major Australian public address, internationally renowned business leader Jon Gray, President and Chief Operating Officer of Blackstone, joins the speaker line-up to discuss the global forces investors can’t ignore. Blackstone is the world’s largest alternative asset manager with nearly US$1 trillion in assets under management.
With over 30 years at Blackstone, Gray previously served as its Global Head of Real Estate, helping build the company into the largest real estate platform in the world.
As previously announced, the event will be headlined by The Hon Anthony Albanese MP, Prime Minister of Australia, delivering a keynote address, before joining Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell for a discussion on the most topical issues facing business and the economy, including how the Government’s Federal Budget will tackle the cost-of-living crisis impacting everyday Australian families.
The agenda will also include lively panel discussions featuring prominent business minds, who will debate future economic trends and explore the challenges and solutions to maintaining a strong economy.
