Tonight | My Kitchen Rules on Channel 7: Tiffany and Giancarlo face a slow start – My Kitchen Rules on Channel 7 moves to Melbourne for its fourth Instant Restaurant tonight. Couple Tiffany and Giancarlo hope their Italian family recipes can lift them up the leaderboard, but their preparation begins to unravel.

The pair enter the kitchen with confidence and little time to spare. Giancarlo’s slow-cook approach and indecision create friction as Tiffany tries to bring their service back on track. The pressure reaches the table, where the other teams are already debating more than food.

After Alisha and Deanne’s difficult night, the guest scoring has become part of the competition’s story. Their challenge to the other teams raises the stakes for every dish Tiffany and Giancarlo serve: the hosts need both the judges and their rivals onside.

Italian family recipes under pressure

For entree, the Melbourne couple serve eggplant parmigiana. The dish is a chance to show what their family cooking can do, even as the guests question whether the slow start has left enough time to recover. Judges Manu Feildel and Colin Fassnidge will assess the result.

The main course is rabbit agnolotti, based on a family rabbit stew recipe and finished with butter sauce. It is a deceptively simple plate, but the pair still have to make each element work under Instant Restaurant conditions.

Dessert brings Sicilian street doughnuts with lemon cream. When dough prepared earlier collapses, Tiffany and Giancarlo must rethink their plan. Whether they can adapt without losing the flavours they want to serve is the final test of their night.

Arguments continue around the table

Alisha and Deanne want answers about their low guest score and accuse rivals of judging personalities. Jane’s emphasis on presentation adds to their frustration, bringing them into conflict with Jane and Shane. A comment from that couple about the effect of the $100,000 prize also surprises the other teams.

That tension gives the fourth restaurant a second contest alongside the cooking. The guests will score a couple whose own kitchen is under strain, while Manu and Colin judge the food on the plate. The best teams will eventually make it to Kitchen HQ, but tonight’s question is whether Tiffany and Giancarlo can finish strongly after their faltering start.
