Tonight | My Kitchen Rules on Channel 7: Alisha and Deanne face Hot Mess pressure – My Kitchen Rules on Channel 7 hands the next Instant Restaurant to South Australian best friends Alisha and Deanne. They open Hot Mess at 7.30pm tonight, hoping home cooking can move them to the top of the leaderboard.

The pair arrive at this service with something to prove after a stormy exit from the previous restaurant. Their response is a menu built around seared scallops, lamb backstrap and a family recipe for sticky date pudding.

It is a test of whether flavour can win over a table already debating presentation and past disagreements. The Adelaide setting puts Alisha and Deanne’s approach, rather than another team’s menu, under scrutiny for a full evening.

Hot Mess meets a demanding table

Alisha and Deanne want to show that straightforward food can outscore more carefully styled plates. Yet their kitchen swings between confidence and disorder. A fire alarm raises the pressure, and a mixer mishap threatens the final course.

At the table, Jane’s attention to presentation frustrates other competitors. Krysten and Lucy challenge her standards, while the earlier conflict involving Tiffany and Giancarlo remains in the background. Simon’s interest in Deanne adds another distraction, and Giancarlo shows an unexpected talent.

Judges Manu Feildel and Colin Fassnidge will weigh the food, but the rival teams also have scores to give. The question is whether the homestyle menu can speak louder than the tensions surrounding it.
