Tonight | My Kitchen Rules on Channel 7: Jane and Shane face the final round-one cook – Jane and Shane take their turn at the final Instant Restaurant of round one in My Kitchen Rules. The NSW couple face a three-course cook built around duck egg chawanmushi, masterstock pigeon and tomato sour. Their episode airs Monday 12 October 2026 at 7.30pm on Channel 7 and 7plus.

The timing gives their dinner more weight than a routine cook. Alisha and Deanne are at the bottom of the leaderboard, Tiffany and Giancarlo are at the top, and one team will leave before the Gatecrashers enter. Jane and Shane now have to turn their own critiques into a convincing meal.

Jane and Shane take the final Instant Restaurant

The menu starts with a delicate steamed egg dish before moving to pigeon cooked in masterstock. Tomato sour is the dessert. Those choices put technique and balance in focus across all three courses, but the judges and rival teams will decide how the menu fares.

Manu Feildel and Colin Fassnidge return to judge the service. The result closes the first round and sets the table for three new Gatecrasher teams, so the score matters beyond Jane and Shane alone.

The couple have watched every earlier restaurant from the dining table. This time the other teams will see how they handle the pressure in their own kitchen. The episode does not reveal the final score in advance.

My Kitchen Rules season 16 episode six airs tonight, Monday 12 October 2026, at 7.30pm on Channel 7 and 7plus.
