Southern Charm Season 12 trailer reveals new romances on Hayu – Charleston’s friendships, feuds and romantic entanglements return when Southern Charm begins its 12th season on Hayu in Australia on Friday, 13 November 2026. The premiere arrives the same day as the United States, and Hayu has released an official trailer.
For Australian viewers, the new season brings back most of the established ensemble while introducing Allie Newman, a Charleston-based model with links to both Venita Aspen and Austen Kroll. Those existing relationships give the newcomer an immediate place in the group rather than a separate introduction.
The returning cast is Venita Aspen, Salley Carson, Craig Conover, Austen Kroll, Madison LeCroy, Molly O’Connell, Rodrigo Reyes, Whitner Slagsvol and Shep Rose. Patricia Altschul also returns as the show revisits the social circle around her Charleston home.
Who is new in Southern Charm Season 12?
Allie Newman is a friend of Venita and a former flame of Austen. Her arrival sets up a hot-and-cold romance and a secret that threatens to complicate her place among the cast. Meanwhile, Patricia celebrates a milestone birthday, and her son Whitney Sudler-Smith inherits the family mansion.
Shep’s past also comes back into the picture. His new relationship with Charley Manley faces scrutiny after a text from former girlfriend Taylor Ann Green. The season follows Shep as he works on himself and considers an old flame.
Where the returning cast stands
Craig has written his first children’s book and is trying to rebuild his friendship with Austen. Austen and Salley have settled into a friends-with-benefits arrangement, although their understanding becomes more complicated as the season progresses.
Madison is balancing life as a mother of two with her business and a husband whose work keeps him travelling. Venita hosts a party while her friendship with Salley is tested. Molly explores songwriting and guitar alongside her romantic life.
Whitner navigates several love interests, while Rodrigo challenges friends when he thinks they need to be held accountable. Together, those stories keep the focus on the personal relationships that have driven the Charleston-set series.
