Seven News was #1 for the night with a reach audience lead of 44 000 and an average audience lead of 68 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #7 with 1 198 000 (837 000). Home and Away – episode 2 was #14 with 925 000 (751 000). Home and Away – episode 3 was #15 with 908 000 (732 000). The movie, Notting Hill was #11 with 1 117 000 (335 000). An encore of Australian Idol was #65 with 231 000 (75 000).

Sunrise – Early – 490 000 (241 000)

The Chase UK – 395 000 (220 000)

Nine

9News was #2 for the night. A Current Affair was #3 with 1 442 000 (937 000). RBT was #4 with 1 386 000 (625 000). Murder Down Under was #5 with 1 348 000 (448 000). 9News Late was #37 with 391 000 (226 000). The Equalizer was #54 with 268 000 (130 000).

  • 9News was the No. 1 news bulletin with Total People across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. The combined national bulletins registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.935 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.201 million, up 10.5% on the same night last year. On 9Now, its BVOD audience of 167,000 was up 70.4% year-on-year.
  • A Current Affair dominated the 7.00pm timeslot with Total People and all key demos across Australia.It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.442 million and a Total TV National Audience of 937,000. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD audience of 123,000, up 53.8% on the same night last year.
  • RBT won the 7.30pm timeslot with Total People and all key demos across Australia.It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.386 million and a Total TV National Audience of 625,000. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD audience of 77,000.
  • Tipping Point Australia was the No. 1 afternoon game show with Total People and all key demos across Australia. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.342 million and a Total TV National Audience of 711,000, up 10.6% year-on-year. It recorded a BVOD audience of 97,000, lifting the timeslot by 79.6% compared to the same day last year.
  • Today secured a National Total TV Reach of 823,000 and a BVOD audience of 56,000, up 43.6% on the same morning last year.
  • The 9Network was the No.1 network on Thursday across the 5 City Metro with Total People and all key demos.
  • 9Now was the No.1 CFTA BVOD Platform on Thursday across Australia with Total People and all key demos.
