Seven News was #1 for the night with a reach audience lead of 118 000 and an average audience lead of 76 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #10 with 1 101 000 (789 000). Home and Away – episode 2 was #16 with 857 000 (701 000). Home and Away – episode 3 was #15 with 874 000 (693 000). A repeat of Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo was #5 with 1 355 000 (445 000). A repeat of Australia’s Most Dangerous Prisoners was #35 with 387 000 (154 000). Gatecrashers was #109 with 133 000 (41 000).

Sunrise – Early – 516 000 (260 000)

The Chase UK – 414 000 (219 000)

9News was #2 for the night. A Current Affair was #4 with 1 382 000 (881 000). RBT was #3 with 1 435 000 (645 000). A repeat of RPA was #11 with 1 073 000 (423 000). 9News Late was #45 with 315 000 (159 000). Chicago Med was #70 with 231 000 (90 000).

An encore of The Cheap Seats was #33 with 113 000 (41 000). An encore of 10 News+ was #223 with 64 000 (31 000).

ABC News was #8 for the night. 730 was #7 with 1 241 000 (747 000). Grand Designs Australia was #12 with 982 000 (573 000). Long Lost Family was #24 with 558 000 (264 000). A repeat of A+E After Dark was #19 with 619 000 (251 000). An encore of Portrait Artist of the Year was #41 with 336 000 (141 000). ABC Late News was #75 with 204 000 (55 000).

  • 9News was the No. 1 program across Australia with People 25-54. It was also the No. 1 news bulletin across the 5 City Metro in Sydney and Brisbane with Total People. The combined national bulletins secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.781 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.136 million – up 12.7% year-on-year. On 9Now, it claimed a BVOD Audience of 143,000 – up a huge 70.2% on the same night last year.
  • A Current Affair dominated the 7.00pm timeslot across Australia with Total People. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.382 million and a Total TV National Audience of 881,000. On 9Now, it registered a BVOD Audience of 104,000 – up 57.6% year-on-year.
  • Tipping Point was the No.1 afternoon game show with Total People and all key demos across Australia. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.338 million, a Total TV National Audience of 712,000, up 15.4% year-on-year and a BVOD audience of 81,000, up 80.0% year-on-year
  • Love Island Australia was the No. 1 program across Australia with People 16-39. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 492,000, a Total TV National Audience of 334,000 – up 98.8% year-on-year, and a BVOD audience of 285,000 – up a massive 122.7% year-on-year.
  • RBT secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.435 million, a Total TV National Audience of 645,000, and registered a BVOD Audience of 66,000.
  • Today achieved a National Total TV Reach of 753,000, a Total TV National Audience of 312,000. On 9Now it recorded a BVOD audience of 49,000 – up 44.1% year-on-year.
  • The 9Network was the No.1 network on Thursday across the 5 City Metro with People 25-54 and 16-39.
  • 9Now was the No.1 CFTA BVOD Platform on Thursday across Australia with People 16-39.

Big Brother is popular among 25 to 54s and 16 to 39s with consecutive nights as the #1 show in younger demos and achieving dominating shares in its timeslot. This season is currently up 132% vs. 2023 and has captured the streaming attention of Australia with over 104 million minutes viewed since its launch on Sunday.

Big Brother continues tonight at 7.30pm and Sunday night at 7pm.
