In this one-hour travelogue documentary, Paul Murray hits the road to test the temperature of America at 250 years old. From New York to Washington DC, the colonial streets of Williamsburg, to the Mississippi River, Nashville, Dallas, the McAllen border region, San Francisco and Malibu, this is a journey through the people, politics, history and contradictions shaping modern America.
Along the way, Paul speaks with outspoken musician Kid Rock, independent commentator Michael Shellenberger, historians, law enforcement officers and everyday Americans.
