2027 Paramount Upfront: Channel 10 confirms 22 returning shows – Channel 10 has filled in the returning-program picture for 2027, confirming 22 shows that will be back while leaving seven other titles under the heading of ‘to be confirmed’.

The update adds detail to the broadcaster’s headline upfront announcements. It gives viewers a clearer guide to which established international dramas, comedies and factual franchises remain part of the schedule alongside the new and returning Australian productions already unveiled.

Importantly, a place on the ‘to be confirmed’ list is not a cancellation. Those seven programs remain unresolved for Channel 10’s 2027 schedule, while The Amazing Race Australia has been specifically ruled out for the year.

22 programs confirmed to return to Channel 10

Channel 10’s confirmed list spans long-running franchises, newer dramas and entertainment formats. The 22 returning programs are:

  • Boston Blue
  • NCIS: Sydney
  • Matlock
  • Elsbeth

  • Jamie Oliver: Eat Yourself Healthy
  • The Neighborhood

The drama component remains substantial. The list keeps the wider NCIS universe visible through the original series, NCIS: Sydney and NCIS: Origins. It also retains FBI, Law & Order: SVU, Fire Country, SEAL Team, Matlock, Elsbeth, Watson and Boston Blue.

Comedy and entertainment are represented by Ghosts (US), The Neighborhood, Ridiculousness, Just for Laughs Australia and Jimmy Carr’s Am I the Asshole?. The returning factual and lifestyle slate includes Race Across the World, two dog-focused formats and programs led by Gordon Ramsay and Jamie Oliver.

Seven Channel 10 shows remain to be confirmed

Channel 10 has not yet confirmed the 2027 status of seven other programs. They are:

  • Iain Stirling’s Roast the Internet
  • Ghosts Australia
  • Airport 24/7
  • Staycation
  • 48 Hours
  • South Park
  • Impractical Jokers

That status means the broadcaster is not yet ready to announce whether those titles will appear in its 2027 line-up. Until further information is supplied, they should be regarded as undecided rather than absent.

The Amazing Race Australia will sit out 2027

One established local franchise has received a definite answer. The Amazing Race Australia will not form part of Channel 10’s 2027 program schedule.

Network 10 attributed the decision to several considerations, with the practical demands of international production among the factors.

Due to several factors including travel logistics The Amazing Race Australia will not be part of our 2027 program schedule.

Network 10

The statement describes the program as absent from the 2027 schedule. It does not announce that the franchise has been permanently cancelled, so its longer-term future remains open.

Channel 10’s broader 2027 schedule

The returning list sits alongside the wider slate presented at Paramount Australia’s upfront. TV Central’s full Channel 10 2027 upfront report covers the major new commissions, returning Australian formats and sporting content announced for the year.

Premiere dates and scheduling details for many of the programs listed here are still to be announced. Channel 10 is expected to release those details closer to each show’s return.
