In 2010, 16-year-old Megan Bhari is at home watching One Direction when she decides to create fairytale experiences for seriously ill children. She is herself described as battling a brain tumour.
Believe in Magic grows quickly and attracts celebrity backing, including from One Direction. The experiences are intended to give children and families a respite from illness.
As the organisation becomes better known, some parents start to investigate. The three-part documentary presents their questions as the beginning of a darker story, without revealing the findings of later episodes here.
