Tonight | My Kitchen Rules on Channel 7: Harrison and Oliver open Bloody Bellissimo – My Kitchen Rules on Channel 7 hands the keys to Sydney Gatecrashers Harrison and Oliver tonight. The Inner West best mates open their Instant Restaurant, Bloody Bellissimo, at 7.30pm on Channel 7 and 7plus.

As the second Gatecrasher team to cook, the pair want to prove they are a real threat. In fact, they are banking on a score in the 80s. That would put serious pressure on the original teams.

Family recipes with a lot riding on them

The menu blends Oliver’s Italian heritage with Harrison’s Australian upbringing. First comes Venetian Liver and Onion Ravioli, a modern take on a classic Italian dish. However, a sticky situation in the kitchen soon threatens their plans.

Next, Oliver serves ‘Nduja Stuffed Squid with Polenta Bianca. He learnt the recipe from his late Nonno, so he feels huge pressure to do it justice. Meanwhile, the heat of the ‘nduja could divide the table.

Finally, Harrison makes a Chocolate Pavlova with Espresso Cream and Raspberries. He often cooks it with his mum. Because he does not want to let Oliver down, the pressure builds as dessert comes together.

The OG teams and Gatecrashers divide

At the table, the split between the original teams and the Gatecrashers grows wider. Sheridan and Ted take aim at Alisha and Deanne’s larger-than-life approach. Even judge Manu Feildel joins in. He jokes that the pair deserve a medal as the loudest contestants in the show’s 16-year history.

In the end, Manu and Colin Fassnidge reveal their scores. Then Harrison and Oliver will learn whether their heartfelt menu has paid off.

Don’t miss My Kitchen Rules, Tuesday 20 October at 7.30pm on Channel 7 and streaming on 7plus.
