Jane is a chic food stylist with a flair for design and dinner parties, while Shane, a former hairdresser turned builder, is described as the calm counterpoint to Jane’s high-energy approach.
For Channel 7, the reveal keeps the focus on the personalities that drive MKR as much as the food. Jane and Shane arrive with a clear contrast: style, confidence and kitchen theatre on one side, and a steadier presence on the other.

Jane says she is “more of a taster than an eater”, but the release positions her as a confident and opinionated cook who believes she can recreate almost any dish.
Shane is expected to bring balance to the team, stepping in when needed while also knowing when to let Jane take centre stage.
