My Kitchen Rules 2027 casting: how to apply for MKR with your teammate – Casting is now open for My Kitchen Rules 2027, with the search on for all-new teams of two. If you love cooking, entertaining, fun and adventure, you can apply for MKR 2027 through MyCastingNet.
The casting call comes while the 2026 season is still airing on Channel 7, with judges Manu Feildel and Colin Fassnidge. Most recently, TV Central’s MKR episode 12 recap covered Alisha and Deanne’s elimination.
Who can apply for My Kitchen Rules 2027?
MKR requires teams of two. According to the casting page, applicants must meet these conditions:
- Team members must have a pre-existing relationship, such as friends, relatives or partners.
- Both team members must be at least 18 years of age.
- Both team members must be an Australian citizen or a permanent resident of Australia.
- Applicants will need to provide proof of identity on audition day.
How to apply for My Kitchen Rules 2027
Applicants must submit their application, photographs and any videos through the online application site. The first team member completes the Applicant A section, while the second completes the Applicant B section.
In addition, the casting team notes:
- Incomplete application forms will not be considered.
- You need to upload at least one recent photo of you and your teammate together. Ideally, include close-up facial photos and full-body photos of both applicants.
- Only one applicant should be logged on at a time, so answers are not lost.
- Each page saves when you press Next, and you can press Save to return later.
- It helps to complete the form in one sitting, and the sooner you apply, the better.
Video submissions for MKR
A video is optional, but it can help casting get a better idea of you as a team. It should feature both teammates together and run no longer than three minutes. Files must not exceed 50MB, and accepted formats include AVI, MOV, MPG and WMV.
For ideas, the casting team suggests covering:
- Your names
- What you love about cooking
- Why you are applying for My Kitchen Rules
- Why you should, as a team, be part of the show
- A description of each other
What happens after you apply?
Applicants will only hear back if they move through to the next round of the casting process. Before applying, read the terms and conditions, which are linked at the bottom of each page of the application.
