Blade Runner 2099 trailer unveiled by Prime Video at New York Comic Con – Prime Video has released a new trailer for Blade Runner 2099 at New York Comic Con, along with the official teaser key art for the limited series from Amazon MGM Studios and Alcon Television Group.
Prime Video revealed the trailer at a packed Blade Runner 2099 panel. Stars Michelle Yeoh and Hunter Schafer appeared alongside Dimitri Abold, Lewis Gribben and Matthew Needham. Showrunner Silka Luisa joined executive producers Andrew Kosove and Broderick Johnson to discuss the series’ futuristic world.
The New York reveal follows Prime Video’s first teaser and premiere-date announcement at San Diego Comic-Con in July. The new footage arrives just over six weeks before launch. Australian subscribers will be able to stream the series from day one.

When Blade Runner 2099 premieres
All eight episodes of Blade Runner 2099 will premiere on 25 November 2026, exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide, including Australia.
Because the full season drops at once, viewers will be able to binge the whole limited series from launch day rather than waiting for weekly episodes.
What Blade Runner 2099 is about
The series is set fifty years after the events of Blade Runner 2049. Los Angeles has been reborn, but not by humanity.
Cora, a fugitive making a final bid to stop running, takes on one last identity: a Blade Runner. However, she is forced to partner with Olwen, a Replicant who is only days from dying.
Together, they hunt down a runaway who is hiding a truth that could collapse a fragile city.
Blade Runner 2099 cast
Dimitri Abold (The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes) and Lewis Gribben (Somewhere Boy) are series regulars. They join stars Michelle Yeoh and Hunter Schafer.
Recurring guest stars include Katelyn Rose Downey (The Nun II), Daniel Rigby (Renegade Nell) and Johnny Harris (A Gentleman in Moscow). Amy Lennox (Only Child), Sheila Atim (The Woman King) and Matthew Needham (House of the Dragon) also appear. The cast further includes Tom Burke (Furiosa) and Maurizio Lombardi (Ripley).
The team behind the series
Silka Luisa serves as showrunner, creator and executive producer. She is joined as an executive producer by Ridley Scott, who directed the original Blade Runner.
Alcon Entertainment co-founders Andrew Kosove and Broderick Johnson are also executive producers, along with television president Ben Roberts. Alcon produced Blade Runner 2049. That film won Academy Awards for Best Cinematography and Best Visual Effects.
David W. Zucker and Clayton Krueger from Scott Free Productions, Steven Johnson, Richard Sharkey, Tom Spezialy, Michael Green, Cynthia Yorkin, Frank Giustra, Tim Gable and Isa Dick Hackett round out the executive producers.
In addition, Jonathan van Tulleken (Shōgun) is an executive producer and directed the first two episodes.
