The Hunting Party season 2: Kelsey Grammer and John Corbett join 7plus crime thriller – Former FBI profiler Bex Henderson is back on the hunt. The Hunting Party season 2 premieres with a double episode at 6pm on Monday, 2 November on 7plus, before airing at 9pm on Channel 7.

Melissa Roxburgh (Manifest) stars as Bex. This season, she is joined by an impressive guest cast that includes Kelsey Grammer, John Corbett, Piper Perabo and Eric McCormack.

The crime thriller arrived on 7plus in early 2025, when TV Central shared The Hunting Party on 7plus trailer. Season 1 then aired on Channel 7. Now the show returns as part of Seven’s Monday night line-up, airing after My Kitchen Rules.

What is The Hunting Party about?

The series follows Bex and her team as they track down some of the world’s most dangerous serial killers. Each of them has escaped from the Pit, a secret prison hidden inside an abandoned missile silo in Wyoming.

However, these criminals are unlike any others. Before their escape, the prisoners were subjected to experimental treatments. These included an empathy drug that may have altered their behaviour in unpredictable ways. Now back on the loose, their killer instincts could be more dangerous than ever.

What happens in The Hunting Party season 2?

Season 2 picks up just weeks after the dramatic season 1 finale. Bex’s first priority is to reunite her unconventional team of investigators:

  • CIA agent Jacob Hassani (Patrick Sabongui)
  • Prison guard Shane Florence (Josh McKenzie)
  • Oliver Odell (Nick Wechsler), Bex’s former partner and the Pit’s warden

As the team races to recapture the escaped killers, the stakes are higher than ever. Each investigation also uncovers new questions about the experiments conducted inside the Pit and the true nature of the criminals they are chasing.
