Dr Pimple Popper season 2 premieres on 7Bravo and 7plus on 3 November – The queen of pimple-popping is back. Dr Pimple Popper season 2 premieres at 9.30pm on Tuesday, 3 November on 7Bravo and 7plus.
This time, Dr Sandra Lee returns to slay lipomas, cysts and life-altering skin ailments, as Seven puts it. As a result, viewers should prepare for another round of cases they won’t want to look at, but can’t look away from.
The series joins a growing reality line-up on Seven’s 7Bravo channel, which TV Central covered when The Real Housewives of Rhode Island premiered on 7Bravo and 7plus in September.
Who is Dr Pimple Popper?
Dr Sandra Lee, aka Dr Pimple Popper, is one of America’s top dermatologists. In fact, her hugely popular online videos have attracted a devoted following around the world. In turn, they have made her a pop culture phenomenon and sparked a growing fascination with dermatology.
Her extraction videos have generated billions of views and earned her legions of loyal “popaholics”. However, according to Seven, the heart of the series lies in the life-changing care she provides to people living with debilitating skin conditions.
What happens in Dr Pimple Popper season 2?
Once again, the series follows Dr Lee at her California clinic, where she treats a range of eye-catching dermatological conditions. As always, she brings her passion, warm bedside manner and signature splash guard to every case, as she helps patients reclaim their confidence.
This season, her biggest cases yet include:
- A cyst that resembles a horse hoof
- Mysterious scaly skin that has baffled doctors for decades
- A black mass that runs a high risk of being life-threatening
- Lumps and bumps aplenty, sprouting from head to toe
Along the way, the show reveals the heart, humour and potential for happiness buried beneath some of the most common, complex and completely unexpected skin conditions.
