7plus October 2026 highlights – 7plus is loading up October with fast-tracked drama and reality television, new catalogue series, major live sport, 7Bravo favourites and a long list of movies.
The month is led by The Amazing Race US Season 39, Chicago Fire Season 14 and the continuing The Rookie. Movie premieres include Oppenheimer and Gran Turismo: Based On A True Story, while the sport schedule spans the Rugby League World Cup, Bathurst, spring racing and women’s cricket.
For 7plus, October shows how the service is extending beyond television catch-up. Early-access episodes, fast-tracked international titles, full-season boxsets, live sport and a substantial movie library give viewers several different reasons to use the platform throughout the month.

A Taste For Murder
Available from 30 September, with episodes dropping at 6.00pm weekly ahead of broadcast.
Grieving DCI Joe Mottram and his daughter Angelica seek solace in Italy, but murder follows Joe wherever he goes. As he is drawn into the island’s dark underbelly, his in-laws offer comfort while everyone around him appears to be harbouring secrets.

The Amazing Race US Season 39
Fast-tracked to 7plus from 2 October.
Host Phil Keoghan surprises the racers in Vancouver with the first twist of the season. For the first time in the history of The Amazing Race, 13 Express Passes are in play.
Chicago Fire Season 14
Premieres in the week commencing 19 October.
Firehouse 51 loses one of its firefighters in an accident, leaving the squad to confront personal and professional challenges. The team must put those problems aside whenever an emergency call arrives.

The Rookie
Continues Mondays.
The Rookie follows John Nolan, the LAPD’s oldest rookie, as he faces the dangerous and unpredictable realities of policing in Los Angeles alongside ambitious officers and seasoned detectives.

New to 7plus in October
The Baxters
Premieres 1 October. Based on Karen Kingsbury’s bestselling novels, the ensemble family drama follows Elizabeth and John Baxter and their adult children through life’s highs and lows. Roma Downey and Ted McGinley star.
The Bible
Premieres 1 October. The dramatic miniseries explores Biblical stories from creation through to the Crucifixion and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Diogo Morgado and Roma Downey star.
A.D: The Bible Continues
Premieres 1 October. Continuing the story of The Bible, the series follows the disciples after the Crucifixion as they spread the teachings of Jesus while facing political unrest, religious opposition and the Roman Empire. Juan Pablo Di Pace and Adam Levy star.
The Reunion
Premieres 1 October. A novelist receives a mysterious invitation to his school reunion and returns to the French Riviera, where he confronts the unresolved disappearance of a classmate 25 years earlier. Ioan Gruffudd and Ivanna Sakhno star.
Get Shorty
Premieres 1 October. The television adaptation of Elmore Leonard’s novel follows a mobster who attempts to reinvent himself as a Hollywood movie producer. Chris O’Dowd and Ray Romano star.
Vampire Academy
Premieres 5 October. Two young women’s friendship crosses class boundaries as they complete their education and prepare to enter royal vampire society. Sisi Stringer and Daniela Nieves star.
