Fox Footy launches ‘Pendles Cam’ for Scott Pendlebury’s record breaking game – Fox Footy is set to deliver its most ambitious broadcast of the AFL season this Saturday, unveiling a suite of special coverage to mark Scott Pendlebury’s record-breaking 433rd AFL game, headlined by the launch of an exclusive dedicated camera stream, Pendles Cam.
Available live and exclusive on Kayo SPORTS and Foxtel (Channel 507) from 4:30pm this Saturday, Pendles Cam will give fans a front-row seat to history.
The dedicated Pendles Cam feed will be locked entirely on Pendlebury from the moment he steps foot on the hallowed turf of the MCG before the opening ball-up, right through to when he leaves the ground after becoming the most decorated player in the history of the game.
Pendles Cam provides the kind of access to a history-making feat that fans have never had before. And for a night this big, Fox Footy wouldn’t have it any other way.
Steve Crawley – Managing Director, Fox Sports said:
“At Fox Footy and Kayo SPORTS, we are fans first, so we know a night like this is truly special. We want every Australian footy fan watching to feel like they are right there in the thick of it with Scott and part of this moment. Pendles Cam is our answer to doing that. It’s the kind of coverage Fox Footy is proud to provide the fans of the game,”
– he said.
Pendles Cam will be complemented by live scores and play-by-play commentary from Fox Footy’s star-studded broadcast team Anthony Hudson (who called Pendlebury’s first ever game), Mark Howard, Jason Dunstall, Garry Lyon and Cam Mooney, ensuring fans don’t miss a moment of the action while keeping their eyes firmly fixed on the man of the moment.
As part of the wider coverage – which will be exclusively live on Fox Footy, available on Kayo SPORTS across all States and Territories, excluding WA where it will be simulcast – Fox Footy’s premium coverage will ensure the milestone is given the celebration it deserves.
After the final siren, the milestone man himself will soak up the moment with good friend and Fox Footy commentator Mark Howard in an exclusive post-match interview. It will be a chance for Pendlebury to reflect on the night, his career, and what it means to stand alone at the top of the AFL’s all-time games record.
