Seven News was #4 for the night with a reach audience loss of 127 000 and an average audience loss of 44 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #8 with 1 279 000 (905 000). The 1% Club UK was #11 with 1 207 000 (668 000). Highway Patrol was #15 with 759 000 (443 000). Operation Dark Phone: Murder by Text was #24 with 602 000 (232 000). Air Crash Investigations was #46 with 315 000 (121 000). An encore of Australian Idol was #104 with 151 000 (47 000).

9News was #3 for the night. A Current Affair was #5 with 1 872 000 (1 129 000). Married at First Sight – Wednesday was #1 with 3 024 000 (2 024 000). ABC News was #9 for the night. 730 was #7 with 1 311 000 (770 000). Hard Quiz was #14 with 819 000 (587 000). The Weekly with Charlie Pickering was #18 with 707 000 (545 000).   • The 9Network claimed Australia’s top 3 programs on Wednesday night with the key demographics of People 25-54 and People 16-39, as Married at First Sight, 9News and A Current Affair took out the top spots.
  • Married at First Sight was the No. 1 program with Total People and all key demos across Australia and in all five metro capitals. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 3.024 million and a Total TV National Audience of 2.024 million (up 12.0% year-on-year) and a BVOD audience of 739,000 – up an impressive 40.2% compared to the same day last year.
  • Married at First Sight secured its highest-rating Wednesday night ep in VOZ history across Australia with Total TV (2.024 million) as well as across Total TV with the 5 City Metro (1.475 million).
  • 9News was the No. 1 news bulletin with Total People and all key demos across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. The combined national bulletins registered a National Total TV Reach of 2.133 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.314 million, up 11.4% on the same night last year. On 9Now, its BVOD audience of 187,000 was up 73.1% year-on-year.
  • A Current Affair won the 7.00pm timeslot with Total People and all key demos across Australia. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.872 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.129 million. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD audience of 193,000, up 62.2% on the same night last year.
  • I’m Chevy Chase and You’re Not dominated its timeslot with Total People across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 2.413 million, a Total TV National Audience of 511,000 and a BVOD audience of 89,000.
  • Tipping Point Australia was the No. 1 afternoon game show with Total People and all key demos across Australia. In Perth it claimed its highest-ever Total TV Aud in VOZ history. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.454 million and a Total TV National Audience of 726,000, up 4.3%year-on-year. It secured a BVOD audience of 100,000, lifting the timeslot by 75.4% compared to the same day last year.
  • Today was the No.1 breakfast program with Total People across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 858,000 and a BVOD audience of 57,000, up 42.5% on the same morning last year.
  • The 9Network was the No.1 network on Wednesday across the 5 City Metro with Total People and all key demos.
  • 9Now was the No.1 CFTA BVOD Platform on Wednesday across Australia with Total People and all key demos.

7plus up 53% on Seven’s big Wednesday

  • National total TV audience share, 6.00am to midnight: 36.6%
