Seven News was #3 for the night with a reach loss of 12 000 and an average audience lead of 72 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #7 with 1 328 000 (813 000). The 1% Club UK was #5 with 1 371 000 (707 000). Ludwig was #11 with 1 177 000 (524 000). The special, How to Poison Your Husband was #21 with 657 000 (180 000).

Beat the Chasers UK (R) – 448 000 (222 000)

Nine

9News was #2 for the night. A Current Affair was #4 with 1 817 000 (1 118 000). Married at First Sight – Wednesday was #1 with 2 814 000 (1 817 000). Big Miracles was #6 with 1 345 000 (584 000). 9News Late was #28 with 552 000 (288 000). A repeat of Casualty 24/7 was #44 with 350 000 (150 000).

Tipping Point UK (R) – 597 000 (331 000)

Deal or No Deal was #30 with 514 000 (284 000). The Project was #19 with 666 000 (305 000). The Dog House Australia was #17 with 725 000 (301 000). Elsbeth was #33 with 477 000 (157 000).

ABC

ABC News was #12 for the night. 730 was #9 with 1 285 000 (773 000). Hard Quiz was #14 with 869 000 (619 000). Optics was #25 with 578 000 (272 000). Guy Montgomery’s Guy Mont Spelling Bee (NZ) was #37 with 407 000 (169 000). Planet America was #32 with 483 000 (292 000).

  • Married at First Sight was the No. 1 program of the night with Total People and all key demos across Australia and in all metro capitals. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 2.814 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.817 million – up 20.8% year-on-year.
     
  • Married at First Sight registered a BVOD audience of 516,000 – up 47.9% on the corresponding episode last year.
     
  • 9News was the No. 1 news service with Total People across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.990 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.180 million – up 1.6% on the same night last year. On 9Now, its BVOD audience of 108,000 was up 36.7% year-on-year.
     
  • A Current Affair dominated the 7.00pm timeslot with Total People and all key demos across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.817 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.118 million – up 6.3% year-on-year. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 120,000 – up 31.9% on the same night last year.
     
  • Tipping Point Australia was the No. 1 afternoon game show with Total People across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.288 million, a Total TV National Audience of 696,000 (lifting the timeslot by 10.5% year-on-year) and a BVOD audience of 57,000 – 58.3% year-on-year.
     
  • Big Miracles won its timeslot with Total People across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.345 million, a Total TV National Audience of 584,000 – up 14.5% year-on-year and a BVOD Audience of 99,000 – up 50.0% on the corresponding episode last year.
     
  • Today was the breakfast program of choice with Total People in Melbourne and Brisbane. It recorded a Total TV National Audience of 305,000 and a BVOD audience of 40,000 – up 17.6% on the same morning last year.
     
  • The 9Network was the No. 1 network on Wednesday across the 5 City Metro with Total People and all key demos.
  • 9Now was the No. 1 CFTA BVOD platform on Wednesday across Australia with Total People and all key demos.

Seven reaches 5.41 million, 7plus up 13%

·       National total TV audience share, 6.00am to midnight: 37.6%

·       National total TV audience share, 6.00pm to midnight: 35.4%
