WA Decides: Election Night Live on Sky News – Saturday 8 March – Sky News Australia will be live as the polls close in the WA State Election this Saturday 8 March, to bring viewers all the results as Premier Roger Cook and Liberal Leader Libby Mettam compete to lead the state.
Live rolling coverage will be hosted by Sky News Chief News Anchor Kieran Gilbert together with an expert election night panel live from Perth featuring Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell, Sky News Host Ashleigh Gillon, WA Liberal Party President and Sky News Political Contributor Caroline Di Russo and The Australian’s Associate Editor Jenna Clarke.
Sky News Chief Election Analyst Tom Connell will provide in-depth analysis focusing on the national political implications of the WA election results, with a Federal Election now just weeks away.
Throughout the evening the team will cross to Perth Lord Mayor and Liberal candidate Basil Zempilas, Federal Liberal Senators Linda Reynolds and Dean Smith, Federal Shadow Defence Minister Andrew Hastie, Federal Labor Ministers Anne Aly and Matt Keogh, and Federal Labor MPs Josh Wilson and Zaneta Mascarenhas.
