Analysis
Seven
Seven News – Saturday was #1 with wins in Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. Seven’s AFL: Saturday Night Football was #3 with 475 000 across 7 and 7mate.
Nine
Nine News Saturday was #2 with a win in Sydney. A Current Affair – Saturday was #5 with 381 000. Space Invaders was #8 with 268 000 viewers. Interestingly, Nine has just skipped episode 8 in the Sydney market, where it was unable to screen due to NSW Election coverage. The other four markets actually encored the episode twice in other slots and Sydney did not screen them here. In an era of encore screenings and multi channels this should not happen. Not everyone has the internet plans to watch on 9Now. Nine has missing episodes in various markets for Mega Zoo, Emergency, Dream Listings: Byron Bay, Taronga: Who’s Who in the Zoo and See No Evil. The movie, Wonder Woman was on 128 000.
10
The Dog House Australia – Encore was on 106 000. Blue Bloods has moved to the 8:30 slot and received an audience of the same 106 000, CSI: Vegas was on 94 000. An encore of NCIS was on 82 000.
ABC
ABC News – Saturday was #4 for the night. The Larkins was #7 with 272 000. The delightful Rebecca Gibney led, Under the Vines was #9 with 228 000. A repeat of Grantchester was on 140 000 and slipped in at #20.
